A comprehensive renovation updated the first-floor entry and exhibit spaces at the Delaware Museum of Natural History, and introduced significant improvements to the building’s education wing. The project also included the addition of a state-of-the-art exhibition gallery to accommodate larger traveling exhibits, a multipurpose orientation theater, a dining area, a larger gift shop, and a glass entry lobby. Mueller Associates engineered improvements to the building’s mechanical and electrical systems including upgraded environmental controls and HVAC systems, building fire alarm and detection system, and the exhibit lighting and building lighting controls.
