The University of Baltimore’s $84 million new law center will house the School of Law and provide a vibrant and diverse learning environment, including a 300-seat moot court on the lower garden level. The 13-story, 190,000-square-foot building consists of three interlocking volumes housing a law library, classrooms, and offices. A winding atrium rises up to a rooftop skylight.

The building is designed to meet a minimum of LEED®NC 2.2 Silver certification. All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering systems support this goal through radiant heating and cooling, water and energy efficiency, enhanced indoor air quality, digital lighting controls, and rainwater harvesting. Integrated architectural and mechanical concepts include efficient facade systems and solar shade controls.
