The first phase of this campus improvement program encompassed the construction of a new 20,000-square-foot annex for student services and athletic offices and a single-story addition above the existing College Center East building to house administrative offices and meeting rooms. During the second phase, the building was partially renovated to allow for a new campus bookstore, offices, and additional meeting rooms. The third phase of the renovation created a new dining center and a full-service kitchen. Mueller’s services included the expansion of the building’s chilled water plant, improvements to the heating plant, and new air and piping distribution systems. Additional HVAC work included a new atrium smoke removal system, kitchen exhaust and make-up air systems, and a perimeter radiation system. Features also include a new direct digital control system networked to the existing campus HVAC control system.
