Mueller’s work for Northrop Grumman—and its predecessor company, Westinghouse—dates to 1979 when the firm was tasked with engineering for the E3A Test Area, testing sites for the U.S. Air Force’s Airborne Warning and Control System. Mueller has since completed more than 500 projects for the Fortune 500 defense industry giant. Work has been completed for projects throughout Maryland and as far away as Chihuahua, Mexico; and has included system design for manufacturing, assembly, and testing spaces; laboratory retrofits; clean room engineering; and comprehensive infrastructure upgrades. Recent assignments include engineering for a 100,000-square-foot expansion to Northrop Grumman’s Central Services Building near BWI Airport.
