The University of Maryland’s Pharmacy Hall addition adds a new 126,000-square-foot building to the existing 30-year-old structure. Four floors are dedicated to state-of-the-art research laboratories, including a dispensing laboratory is equipped with robotics. The addition also features two 200-seat lecture halls, two smaller lecture halls, and classrooms and seminar rooms all equipped for distance learning. A new patient interaction suite accommodates 48 students for practice in patient counseling.
The LEED®-Gold building features interactive displays that showcase the building’s highly efficient systems for students and visitors.
