Chairman of the Board

Gene Nerf has been the firm since its earliest days in 1966. He was named president and chairman of the board in 1992, and continues to serve as chairman today. Gene holds a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He has managed many of the firm’s major projects through the years—from renovations and expansions of the Lyric Theatre and the Walters Art Museum to work at the University of Delaware, Johns Hopkins University, and many other institutions. Gene continues to be actively involved in several projects for the firm today, and as he has done for the past 30 years, continues to oversee the firm’s work for Northrop Grumman.
